This fine lion was harvested by Tom Bledsoe of New Mexico. He weighed 206 lbs and qualified for the all-time Boone & Crockett record. The dogs in the photo were trained on your lion training scents.

This is one of the many, many lions that Weldon Hoppman of Arizona has taken in the last 50 some years. Weldon says he uses our training scents to start all his pups with.

This lion weighed 227 lbs. on a butchers scale. He also made the all-time Boone & Crockett record. I have only taken 3 lions in the last 30 years that weighed over 200 lbs. Your training scents really smell like a lion and the dogs learn to work them as they should. I have told many people about your good product and many have called and thanked me for turning them on to a great product. -- Mike Leanard, New Mexico, Professional lion hunter

James Schultz, of Wyoming, hunted from 3 am until 7 am and then worked his day job. This went on for several days before he bagged this 183 lb. tom. James said he reed two other lions close to this size in the same season.

Dog Training Scents

Mr. Hound Owner,

Our scents have been in use during the past 38 years by U.S. Fish and Wildlife agencies, state Game and Fish Departments, professional dog trainers, hound clubs, World Champion Bear and Coon Field Trials and individuals in every state in America and nine foreign countries.

In error, most training scents are a mixture of rendered fats, stale urine and a mixture of dung and mineral oils which are practically useless as a dog training scent, because of harsh acids and bacteria created by such mixtures.

During the last 42 years of handling and raising most every known fur-bearing and big game animal in America, we have discovered that all animals have nine different sets of glands, which are used in marking territories, communication, for identity, mating and, at times, as warnings. Three of these sets of glands we have found to be responsible in creating and leaving what we call “Body Odors.” These odors are, in fact, tiny scent molecules floating in the air and leaving behind the animal’s true scent trail. It’s left on the ground, on rocks, on timber and on all terrain that the animal travels over. These are the scents that our dogs are trailing. One of the most important factors in creating good natural scent odors is the correct handling and cutting of glands. Another is the use of modern fixatives and preservatives to hold that true, fresh, natural animal odor.

One customer wrote stating, “Your scents smell so real, all they need is hair on them.”

Treat yourself and your dog to a bottle of our 100% PURE GLAND SCENTS, for use in breaking or training.
