Stretchers

We use only a select and better grade of 100% Basswood. We do not mix any poplar or cottonwood as some of our competitors do. These stretchers have a sanded, smoother finish with smooth, round edges which makes for a more uniform stretch.

Most Stretchers are considered Oversize by the Post Office. You’ll be charged the price of the product and later will be charged any Oversize charge calculated by the Post Office. Those in the range of Speedee Delivery will have a lesser shipping charge. Request this if you can have this company ship to you. (large 6 5/8" x 48") Many trappers are cashing in on the high prices that skunks have been bringing again. Again, this board is made for the skunk's long, tapered neck and shoulders with the wider lower body. This board gives the new longer length to a skunk hide that is desired by the fur houses and auction companies.
